Implementing a comprehensive suite of HR support

Delfinity were approached by a Facilities Management company to assist the business with the set up and implementation of various HR policies and systems including TUPE regulations.

 

As the business is involved in winning contracts from other suppliers they are required to transfer employees under the Transfer of Undertakings Protection of Employment (TUPE) regulations and must ensure that they have a streamlined process for this to minimise room for error.

 

Our business experts at Delfinity have a wealth of experience in advising on policies and supporting implementation. Our team worked with the client to draft contracts of employment, as well as an employee handbook which now enables the business to manage HR issues effectively in an efficient and timely manner whilst also ensuring that any legal obligations are met. Alongside the handbook we were able to advise on the best method of management in regards to TUPE transfers by clearly highlighting the responsibilities and liabilities within commercial negotiations and working with the client to streamline this process.

 

As well as this our team also supported the business by creating a training package for managers that clearly outlined the regulations and legal obligations that the company must abide by. With this training package we also included a toolkit of letters to streamline the process of transferring employees in or out of the business.

 

This project was a success and Delfinity continues to provide the client with ongoing business support for complex HR issues including grievances, disciplinaries and TUPE transfers.
