Fiona Smith
Strategy and Business Growth Expert
Fiona is adept at working across diverse culture and business sectors and has expertise in managing change within complex organisations.
Having worked in the area of strategy and change for over 25 years Fiona has extensive experience in undertaking and implementing the outcome of strategic reviews, having led such projects in the service, packaging, FMCG and energy sectors. 
More recently she has translated her knowledge and experience from the private sector into community, grant funded and third sector spaces; working with organisations focused on agendas as varied as research and education and economic development.  
As director and secretary of Tarves Development Trust, Fiona led the SLF application and development of the business plan which secured almost £100k in funding from the Scottish Land Fund in late 2018 for the purchase of the community hub and café.
As well as this, Fiona is also a board member of WoodRecyclability, a social enterprise providing training opportunities to adults with learning disabilities and has been a mentor for the Prince's Trust for almost 10 years.
