Hazel Allen
Chartered Accountant, Business Performance Coach and Financial Engineer
Hazel is a Chartered Accountant and Strategic Planner with over 25 years experience working with private and third sector organisations, with an MSc in European Environmental Policy, focussing on sustainable development in rural areas.
Throughout her career Hazel has led many organisational development projects, with a focus for facilitating clients in realising and developing their own vision. She continues to support clients through engagement on social benefits, socio-economic evidence of need, economic feasibility, strategic fit, options appraisal, business planning, project financing, governance, risk planning, and social outcomes.

As well as this, Hazel has Senior Director experience in finance, planning, and corporate governance, including 6 years as Director of Finance and Planning at the University of the Highlands and Islands. 
Working with clients at all scales, from Global Energy Group in Inverness, to local social enterprises throughout Scotland, Hazel can support in recent business, organisational development, and planning advice to enterprises in sectors including across heritage, wellbeing, leisure, health and social care, retail and hospitality.
